Deacon Elsie Gholston
Deacon Elsie Gholson was born in Blackstone, Virginia to Estelle and Morris Tucker. Her husband Deacon Raymond Gholson (deceased) together had four children. Sherry, NaCole (Chuck), Pastor Lisa (Pastor Jermaine) and Raymond Jr. (deceased). Her family of love has yielded twenty grand and great grandchildren. She serves Kingdom Community Church through hospitality. She leads the birthday/anniversary celebration ministry, teaches youth bible study and works part time at the church’s daycare, Destined Child Care. Her gift of creating bulletin boards, writing plays and displaying love while she services has blessed many hearts. Deacon Gholson stands on God’s word.
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path.
Minister LaTasha Tucker
Meet Minister LaTasha Tucker! Minister T is a native of Blackstone, Va. She is the oldest daughter of Gary & Penny Tucker of Blackstone, Va. The greatest gift that God has given her is the opportunity to be the mother of Malachi Tucker- Buford. She accepted Christ at the age of 12. Her educational accomplishments: Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Norfolk State University and a Master’s of Education with a minor in Grant Writing from Strayer University. Minister T leads the Youth, Young Adult’s (YaYa’s), and the Singles Ministries. She stands on this scripture, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to our own understanding but, in all our way acknowledge him and he will direct our path”! Minister T is passionate about helping people “win” in the Kingdom. A fun fact about our Minister, she loves "ten second" cars, but you will often find her reading a book and enjoying family.
Deacon Penny Tucker
Deacon Penny M. Tucker is a native of Blackstone Virginia born to James and Sarah Marshall. She's married to her husband of 33 years, Gary L Tucker, and has two children, Minister LaTasha Tucker and Teiera (Jamal). She also has two wonderful grandchildren, Malachi and Neveah. She enjoys decorating, traveling and my favorite holiday is Christmas, when the world becomes joyful and full of God. She has been a family member at KCC for 12 years, serving and giving in the ministry. In addition, she also serves in the women's ministry, choir, and lead the new family member ministries.
Danielle Williams
Mrs. Danielle Williams is the oldest daughter of Wavly and Louise Chaffin of Victoria, Virginia. She accepted Christ at an early age and is employed at Nottoway Correctional Center as a Senior Correctional Officer in Burkeville, Virginia. She's married to Chacoby T. Williams Sr, and together they are the parents of three children; Briana, Destinee (S'Kani), Chacoby Jr., and one grandchild. At Kingdom Community Church, she serves in many ministries such as Women's, Seniors, Married Couples, Music, Hospitality, and Community Outreach. As a family member of KCC, she also enjoys being around God-fearing Christians that are seeking the Lord and want to tell the good news of All His wonderful Blessings!
